# Action requires account activation - account created using Gmail address so can't reset password

**Update**

The issue with Google Authentication has been clarified and we will be working on a correction with priority!

For anyone who ran into this issue, this advice will still apply.

- Please contact your server administrator for help until resolved.

- If you can’t find it, start up a topic here, share the server URL (browser address at the top!), and we can help to find it!

- Or, everyone can write into our `galaxy-bugs` at `lists.galaxyproject.org` mailing list and we can help you directly. Be sure to write in from the email address used for your account and include the URL for the server!

- You **do not** need to share your **email address** for this (we will move to a private communication first), and you will **never ever** need to share your **password** (administrators do not need it!).
