# Administrative Job Lock Job dispatching is currently unlocked/locked

Hello All,  
Sorry to repost but this may be a different issue than the job handler. Is there anyway to check in the system files on a linux system that this is really unlocked. Our local galaxy server is not processing jobs and everything is listed in grey as “Job is waiting to run.” This was checked off when one of the users crashed our local galaxy and I had to force a reboot and repair the database.  
I am very new to administering our old galaxy instance.

I tail one of the web logs and I see the message “galaxy.jobs.manager INFO 2019-06-07 16:06:12,896 Job queue is administratively locked, sleeping…”
