# Bismark Meth. Extractor version to generate coverage file

Hi,

I came across this topic in 2021: [Bismark meth. extractor not generating coverage files](https://help.galaxyproject.org/t/bismark-meth-extractor-not-generating-coverage-files/6125/6). Despite the suggestion to update the tool, I am still experiencing the same issue.

I am aware that there is an updated version of the tool available on Galaxy, as I was using it on a local Galaxy previously. Would it be possible for someone from the Galaxy EU team to make this version of Bismark available? I really need the .cov files.

Let’s leave this ticket open until fully resolved. I created a very small history that can help to verify and demonstrate how this will work once updated (contains the data for the tool test). I’ll run that once the update is available.
