# commands taking too long

Hello,  
It has been a couple days that I ran a command (classify.seqs) and it haven’t started yet.  
I reran it twice and same, it is taking so long.  
could you please advise?

Hi @Funnyme186  
it depends on available resources. If a job uses a lot of CPUs, it might stay in queue for some time if the server is busy. Deleting and resubmitting a job does not help, if not opposite, because resubmitted job might be at the end of the queue.
