# How jobs execute -- blast analysis running for several days and not ending

Hello @mauddelagarde

All public Galaxy servers are very very busy. I added a tag to your post that links to other Q&A about this that includes more details.

In short, longer job queue time (delays) are expected. Leave queued (grey) jobs queued and they will execute as resources become available.

Once a job is actually executing (peach/yellow), allow that to complete. If the job is actually too large or there is an input problem, then it will fail.
