Hello,

I’m using SICER peak calling tool, as inputs I uploaded 2 BED files (one control, one ChIP tag file). When I want to execute the job, first file (whatever it is, control of ChIP file) is enlighten in red with that error message:
SICER is not available for the genome.

Does anyone would know what I could do to fix it?

Many thanks for your help,

Pierre

Hi there Pierre,

Did you manage to solve your problem? I am trying to use SICER for peak calling and have encounter the same issue. I found in the galaxy biostar forum that changing the metadata of the organism being use to a one compatible with SICER would solve the problem (from tair10 to tair8 in my case) but it didn’t worked out.

Regards,

Jorge.

Hi Jorge,

Yes I did thanks to the help from Björn Grüning (Galaxy Europe Support).
The way you tried worked for me but send him an e-mail and he will certainly help you out:

Good luck,

Pierre
