My account has problem from last night that any of the new job summitted will be in waiting (not even running) forever, even only for uploading a simple text file to the server:

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex020/uploads/galaxy/original/2X/6/63079520ec6b34e60a97a05afcc375dfa1a9846f.png)

The operation I can do here is only creating new histories, deleting files and transfer file between histories. Please advise on how to restart the account that I can do file upload and use tools on it.

Million thx!

Welcome @ProbioLife_HSKG

Let’s see if we can help!

It sounds like you have jobs that are queueing. That is normal and happens in Galaxy in any account. My guess is that you have many other jobs either queued, or executing, or some mix of both, in addition to the job in the screenshot. The best advice we have is to allow those all to process and to avoid deleting/rerunning.

> [@Troubleshooting resources for errors or unexpected results](https://help.galaxyproject.org/t/troubleshooting-resources-for-errors-or-unexpected-results/42/1):
>
> ⏰ When working at [UseGalaxy.org](http://UseGalaxy.org), [UseGalaxy.eu](http://UseGalaxy.eu), or [UseGalaxy.org.au](http://UseGalaxy.org.au), your analysis jobs execute [at large scale academic clusters](https://training.galaxyproject.org/training-material/faqs/galaxy/#analysis). Hundreds of thousands of jobs process each month!
>
> - Use a [Workflow](https://training.galaxyproject.org/training-material/search2?query=workflow) for batch work.
> - Allow [queued (grey color) and executing (yellow-orange) datasets](https://training.galaxyproject.org/training-material/faqs/galaxy/datasets_job_status.html) to finish processing.
> - Deleting and rerunning puts your job back _at the end_ of the queue again!
> - Job priority is the exactly the same for everyone.
> - **Be patient**. Galaxy is a free service, when a lot of people are using it, [you may have to wait longer than usual](https://training.galaxyproject.org/training-material/faqs/galaxy/analysis_jobs_not_running.html) (especially for ‘big’ jobs, e.g. alignments).

Then, for some advanced advice, we had a discussion last week that is another good place to review. → [Job delays? How to check your job queues and how to work at multiple public UseGalaxy servers - #5 by jennaj](https://help.galaxyproject.org/t/job-delays-how-to-check-your-job-queues-and-how-to-work-at-multiple-public-usegalaxy-servers/16123/5)

If you still need more help, I would be curious about the server where you are working (the URL, find this at the top of your browser window). Maybe something is going on with the server itself? We can help to confirm the #server-status

Please let us know if this helps or if you have more questions! 🙂
