Jobs stuck in 'new' state — Faster Download and Extract Reads in FASTQ

Tool name: “Faster Download and Extract Reads in FASTQ format from NCBI SRA (Galaxy Version 3.1.1+galaxy1)”

Clicking Run Tool shows ‘please wait’ for under a second, then reverts with no job appearing in history, no error message.

Accession tested: SRR40278334 and many more

Hi @Ghaida

The server might be busy. I tried Download and Extract Reads in FASTQ format for SRR40278334 on Galaxy Europe, and my job got “yellow-brown” stripe in few seconds. I don’t see any issue with the European server right now.

Have you tried alternative options, for example, upload by URL or pushing data from ENA into Galaxy?
