Hi @Andrea_Leon and @M_Winters The server where the account was created will matter for us to help with this. If both of you are working at [UseGalaxy.org](http://UseGalaxy.org), please write into [galaxy-bugs@lists.galaxyproject.org](mailto:galaxy-bugs@lists.galaxyproject.org) from the email address used for registration and I’ll be able to help you. For other UseGalaxy servers, the administrative contact email address can vary but it is usually on the server homepage somewhere (scroll all the way down). Or, you can share the server URL here and we can direct you! Our apologies for the issues with the Google Authentication registrations! This has been difficult for us to solve and is still pending a resolution. Not all registrations fail, only some, and exactly why is not quite clear (yet!). - [Users who create an account via Google Auth do not get an account activation email. · Issue #22678 · galaxyproject/galaxy · GitHub](https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/issues/22678) I’m going to rename and pin this topic so others can find it and we can use it as a mega-thread until resolved. **Please, DO NOT post your email address publicly!** Only ask for a server’s administrative direct contact email address if you can’t find it. This is started by sharing the server URL with your message to the thread. The final option is to delete the account you created through Google Auth and recreate an account using the regular email/password option. You won’t be able to reuse the same original email address because deleted accounts take ~ 14 days to fully clear from a server (to allow for accidental deletion/restoration use cases). To make that clearing step happen quicker, you’d need to again contact the specific server’s administrators. So, you may as well ask for a new activation email for the original account due to the process being so similiar, or use a different email address for the immediate short term ([you can always update it later](https://galaxyproject.github.io/training-material/faqs/galaxy/user_preferences_manage_information.html)), but what to do is your choice!
