# PICRUSt : Error message when "Normalize By Copy Number"

Hi,
I am trying to run the first step of PICRUSt from Galaxy /Hutlab ([Galaxy](https://huttenhower.sph.harvard.edu/galaxy/)) which aims to “Normalize By Copy Number”.
I am using the template file proposed by the website (called sample file) but I am getting this error :
_**Traceback (most recent call last):**_
\*\*\* File “/galaxy-central/tools/picrust/scripts/normalize\_by\_copy\_number.py”, line 146, in \*\*\*
\*\*\* main()\*\*\*
\*\*\* File “/galaxy-central/tools/picrust/scripts/normalize\_by\_copy\_number.py”, line 74, in main\*\*\*
\*\*\* raise ValueEr\*\*\*
Do you know what can I do to fix that ?

Hi Shakthee,
I never managed to fix this problem.
So I decided to follow the authors pipeline, out of galaxy.[https://github.com/picrust/picrust2/wiki/PICRUSt2-Tutorial-(v2.3.0-beta)](https://github.com/picrust/picrust2/wiki/PICRUSt2-Tutorial-(v2.3.0-beta))
