# reference genome for STARsolo

Dear,

I would like to use STARsolo with this reference genome GCF\_000003025.6\_Sscrofa11.1  
Would it be possible to include this as a reference genome (including annotation)?  
I see on the platform that it says “If your genome of interest is not listed, contact the Galaxy team (–genomeDir)”. I would be grateful for your help,

Welcome, @Stephanie_Dv

You can use the **Custom Reference Genome** function for your genome. This will work just like native server index that happens to be available.

We had another question about this today where I provided all the details, plus a fresh example of the data preparation steps. This should work for you, too!
