# Trim Galore! can't find fastq files

Hi @Bernhard,  
most likely your files have ‘fastq.gz’ datatype in Galaxy, eg format: fastq.gz. Cutadapt recognizes this datatype, while Trim Galore works with datatype like fastqsanger.gz.
