# Update to InterProScan database in InterProScan functional annotation tool at usegalaxy.eu?

hello,

in **InterProScan** functional annotation(Galaxy Version 5.59-91.0+galaxy3) tool at [usegalaxy.eu](http://usegalaxy.eu), the database version seems ~3 years old. Are there plans to update to the latest version 5.75-106.0?

I’ve made the request to the IDC here → [Update InterProScan index · Issue #73 · galaxyproject/idc · GitHub](https://github.com/galaxyproject/idc/issues/73)

The tool has some commercial indexes, so there might be complications with the most current version but let’s see what others think.
