Dear Galaxy Europe Support Team,

I am experiencing an upload problem on [UseGalaxy.eu](http://UseGalaxy.eu).

All uploaded datasets remain in the Queued state for several hours, and their reported file size is 0 B.

I have tested:

- Two paired-end FASTQ.gz files (1.25 GB each).

- A separate small test file.

- Standard browser-based upload.

None of these uploads completed successfully. I also receive the following error:

“The dataset you are attempting to view is queued and has no data. (409001)”

Could you please check whether there is an issue with the upload job handler or the server-side processing queue?

Thank you for your assistance.

Welcome @Zoheir_Heshmatipour

It sounds like your work is still queued. Has this completed by now?

The [UseGalaxy.eu](http://UseGalaxy.eu) server has been under very heavy usage load recently, and this is the topic where we were previously discussing the situation. It contains some details about how you can review the server statistics. The server is currently processing thousands of jobs every hour!

> To check that the server itself is running Ok, you can review the current work. Thousands of jobs complete every hour, every day! You can use your browser find function to search by tool names too! → [How to see the UseGalaxy.eu job queue statistics - #2 by jennaj](https://help.galaxyproject.org/t/how-to-see-the-usegalaxy-eu-job-queue-statistics/11837/2)
>
> The [UseGalaxy.eu](http://UseGalaxy.eu) core administrators follow our discussions here so if anything changes, they will let us know. From the statistics we can all see that there are many pending jobs and many executing jobs and some patience is needed for now. → [https://stats.galaxyproject.eu/](https://stats.galaxyproject.eu/)

All this activity is great news for science 🧬 but individual scientists 🧑‍🔬 will need to be patient! Our best advice is to leave queued jobs queued and to avoid deleting and rerunning, as the “rerun job” enters back at the end of the queue again, extending your wait time. Later, once your data is loaded, using [Galaxy workflows](https://galaxyproject.org/search/?q=workflow) can help to optimise your throughput when competing for a slot on the public computational nodes.

Then, for your queued Upload job, this is a waiting period while the job is dispatched to the clusters. It is pending execution.

Since there is no data loaded yet, if you attempt to [use the eye icon](https://galaxyproject.github.io/training-material/faqs/galaxy/datasets_icons.html) to view the contents of the (still empty) file, a warning message like yours will be reported. Going into the [i-info icon](https://galaxyproject.github.io/training-material/faqs/galaxy/datasets_icons.html) instead will list the command line and job logs (that will be empty until the job completes and reports information back about what happened).

I hope this explains the current situation. The local EU administrative team will be back soon in their morning and can update us about anything special that may be going on with their server. 🙂
