I was hoping someone in the Galaxy Admin community could advise me on whether it’s possible to customise the Activity Bar.
I’m specifically interested in configuring what users see in their Activity Bar upon first login. As a user, I can manually adjust the “Additional Activities” via the UI — for example, deselecting items like Pages or Datasets.
What I’d like to know is: is there a way to define a default set of visible activities for new users, while still allowing them to customise the bar themselves afterwards? Maybe somewhere in galaxy.yml or another config location.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
