Compare tool returns only 1st column vice entire row

Using “Compare two Datasets” tool, after comparing Exons via column 4 with “Select first” dataset via column 1, the result contains 5 rows - but only the 1st column of the matching Exons dataset vice the entire row.

Please advise, thanks.
