Funanotate missing depencies

Hi,

I’m trying to run Funannotate compare on the Galaxy Europe server and encountered the following error related to a missing dependency:

[Jul 30 07:40 PM]: Running 1.8.17
[Jul 30 07:40 PM]: Missing Dependencies: iqtree. Please install missing dependencies and re-run script

Has anyone else run into this issue ?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @oceane_mion

The EU server just completed at maintenance event and there were a few hiccups after. Those should all be resolved by now. Have you tried a rerun yet? Are you still having this problem?

Let us know!

Update

I decided to start up a tool test to see how the baseline functionality is working. Those are still running but I would have expected them to fail by now if the database was disconnected. Maybe compare your usage?

Hi, I try to rerun and I still have the same error with missing dependencies

HI @oceane_mion

I’m sorry that didn’t work, but it was worth a try! Since I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue, I’m now wondering if the database choice is the root problem. Some of the older databases may have had a problem. What happens if you try changing the database selection to the most current available option in the drop down menu?

Sometimes when using the rerun button to load up a tool form, or when using a workflow, older reference data choices may no longer be supported or may never have been supported at a particular server. You can adjust these reference data parameters directly when working in the history or you can edit your workflow in the editor (and even at runtime! but this is tedious and best as a one-off!).

Let us know how this goes! If you are still having problems, it will be difficult for me to guess more about what might be going wrong. Screenshots or a shared history would be helpful, with the latter most likely to get you a working solution quicker. Thanks!
