Jupyter Notebook Issue in Galaxy Australia

I encountered an issue while trying to access the Jupyter Notebook interactive interface in Galaxy Australia.
Could you please provide guidance or direct me to the relevant resources?

Welcome @Tharinda_Karawita

The message is stating that the tool isn’t found, and doesn’t look like the tool is listed in the tool panel.

How are you reaching this error? What steps did you do first? Maybe we can come up with an alternative. UseGalaxy.org and UseGalaxy.eu both have this tool ready to use.

As for why the tool isn’t available, I’m not sure so let’s ping one of the UseGalaxy.org.au team members. Hi @igor can you help?

Let’s start there, thanks!

Update: this seems to be expected. Were you following a link from somewhere else? Where?

Don’t forget to log into Galaxy if you want to save a session or access a prior session, and to save the environment back to the history!

Hi @Tharinda_Karawita, hi @jennaj

Jupyter Notebook and RStudio IEs were (temporary) removed from Galaxy Australia because of persistent attempts of malicious use by users registered with disposable emails. I expect the tools will return to the server once we find an reliable prevention of this activity. I don’t know how long it might take. In meantime, please, use Jupyter Notebook on other public Galaxy servers.

Kind regards,
Igor
