Managing access to Galaxy Tool Shed Tools on usegalaxy.eu

Hi,

I am working with colleagues from a scientific consortium on various tools and workflows and have recently added the ‘spamr_vet_tools’ repository in the Galaxy Tool Shed (Galaxy | Tool Shed). I would like to grant access to specific users on usegalaxy.eu while keeping it restricted until the tools are finalized.

I would appreciate your guidance on how to manage this.

In short we can:

  • hide tools
  • put tools under our test-tool section
  • fail tools under certain user-conditions

Option 3 is not great IMHO, but let’s discuss the options.
