Slow uploading of files

Hello everyone!

I´ve been trying this morning to upload files containing sequences that I want to cluster using cd-hit.

My files are in the format fasta, but they can be considered heavy since their size is 79 622 KB and 49 726 KB. So uploading I think will take some time, but they are still waitting to run.

Usually Galaxy europe is really quick, so I would like to question if there is a problem, or updating of the plataform that might explain the long time in queue?

Thank you!

Welcome @Ines_Leao

It does seem that the server had a few more queued jobs than usual around the time your wrote in but this appears to be resolved now.

See → How to see the UseGalaxy.eu job queue statistics

This section of the graphs is about the queued jobs. I see a really busy time earlier – this is represented by a peak in the graph corresponding to _DATA_FETCH_ jobs (which are from the Upload tool). Some of those 130+ jobs were probably yours!

The server was likely just busy. But please let us know if you are still having trouble and we can look into it more!
