My console shows I’m using 198G, but my actual files are only 53G. I’ve tried clearing, but it’s not clearing from my usage.

When purging a larger files, the timing to update can take up to about 24 hours since the data is removed as a background process. Does that explain what might be going on?
If not, you can learn about which exact files might be contributing to the data usage under the User → Preferences → Storage Dashboard views. The Refresh button here may speed things up a small bit.
You can also usually see which histories contain data under the Histories views. Any data under the My Histories and Archived Histories tabs are yours.
Then for individual histories, switch to a history and use the database icon in the upper left of that history frame to navigate the files in that history. This loops back into the other Storage Dashboard functions.

I found a fix from your information. Preferences, preferred Galaxy Storage, then reset to default. After that it cleared, thanks.
