Unable to access Galaxy (Connection timed out)

Hello,

I am unable to access the Galaxy server at https://galaxy.biobakery.org in order to continue my MaAsLin2 analysis.

Whenever I try to open the website, I receive the following error:

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I have already tried refreshing the page, using a different browser, and the problem persists.

Could you please let me know if the server is currently experiencing any issues or if there is another way to access my analysis?

When working at certain Galaxy sites, questions are best asked at the places the scientists who run the server host discussions. They can also let you know if there happen to be any current technical problems that may be impacting your analysis. These are the ones we know about.

I don’t see a topic at their forum about a recent issue. You could post there to ask? Feel free to include a link to your topic at this forum for context and those admins might come back and update us! → Infrastructure and utilities - The bioBakery help forum

Then, I am able to reach the server at the above http:// link, but please note that the connection is not secure and if changed to https:// then the connection fails. This seems unexpected so please proceed with caution.

These tools are not hosted at the other public Galaxy servers in the same way, so I don’t have a direct work around to share. These are my ideas:

• Reaching out to the server administrators to learn status and the best path forward using these exact tools.
