UseGalaxy.fr service updates re: IFB Core Cluster infrastructure shutdown from September 14th to 21st, 2026

Dear all,

Is installing FROGS on usegalaxy_eu still not possible ? usegalaxy_fr as an electrical issue, and I can’t find an other alternative… and my training session is next week ;(

Yes, the FROGS tools are hosted at UseGalaxy.fr.

The FROGs tools is a bit special due to licensing reasons and cannot be hosted at the other public Galaxy servers for now.

The notice at the server and support forum suggests that the site will be restored sometime tomorrow (Tuesday, September 22, 2026).

For now, I think we’ll all need to follow the IFB support thread for status updates. I’ll also keep an eye on this and try to replicate updates here. Everyone is also welcome to provide updates (successful resumption of use?).
