the WF extraction functionality is, in general, a bit limited in what it can do and will sometimes fail for more complex histories, in which case you will have to build the workflow manually in the WF editor.
If a simpler WF extraction works on Galaxy CA, then I’d say it’s likely the above. If it’s not working even for simple cases like the ones in several of the introductory GTN tutorials, then contact the server admins.
