Busco problem with choosing lineage

Dear Galaxy Team,

I wanted to use the busco tool with the lineage of ascomycetes but when I try to choose a lineage, it says “No options available.” Could you please have a look at that?

Thank you so much

Welcome @bioc_dae

The BUSCO tool seems to be missing lineage selection entirely right now. The EU server was undergoing some changes recently, so let’s ask the administrators if this is a known or not. Ping @wm75 – what do you think?

For now, you can work at the UseGalaxy.org server instead. Then I believe you will want to be using the Ascomycota lineage instead? Am I understanding this correctly for your use case? These are the available indexes from the Busco authors and what is indexed in Galaxy is the same. → Index of /v5/data/lineages/

You will probably not need to start completely over the UseGalaxy.org server! Instead you can move your history over with all the data intact. How to. → FAQ: Transfer entire histories from one Galaxy server to another

Please let us know if this helps! We can follow up more, too.

Thanks @bioc_dae and @jennaj for the issue report.
I just repopulated the options on the eu server and the options should be publicly available by tomorrow again.
Please make sure you’re selecting “Busco v5 Linage Datasets (all+2024-03-21)” as the “cached database with lineage” and you should find “Ascomycota” as a “Select lineage” option just like in @jennaj’s screenshot from the .org server.
