Cannot access the ORG server

Sometimes I cannot access the ORG server with the latest Galaxy release. I see a blank page with “data loading” message. No problem with access to the forum, UCSC Genome Browser and Galaxy Europe. I tried FireFox and Chrome, laptop reboot. The status page does not show any issue with the ORG server. Ping results are OK. Yesterday, the connection was restored in the second half of the day, but I am facing the same issue this morning. Cannot connect, cannot import a history.

One of my colleagues can connect to the server as usual, while another see a blank page for minutes, just like me, so it works for some users from the same geographical location.

The server was likely overloaded. I had this happen too back in June during the release cycle. We made many changes since then so if you notice this again, ping and I’ll check quicker. :slight_smile:
