Cannot find the custom genome "Fly (Drosophila melanogaster): dm6 Full"

Hi,

I would like to use “bedtools Genome Coverage” with the Drosophila melanogaster dm6 genome but I cannot find the custom genome “Fly (Drosophila melanogaster): dm6 Full” that I used with my Minimap2 alignment in a previous step. This genome is different from the NCBI and Flybase genomes since the titles of the chromosomes are “chr2L”, “chr2R” etc. Could you please (1) tell me how to download this specific dm6 genome and (2) add the “Fly (Drosophila melanogaster): dm6 Full” genome to the list of custom genomes accessible from “bedtools Genome Coverage” ?

Many thanks!

Hello @Silke_Jensen

Yes, I see that dm6 is missing from the bedtools Genome Coverage tool at UseGalaxy.eu. I’ve reported this to the developers.

For now, try running this job at a different UseGalaxy server. Both UseGalaxy.org and UseGalaxy.org.au have this indexed correctly.

You don’t need to start over! Just move the input or the working history over. → FAQ: Transfer entire histories from one Galaxy server to another

Thanks for reporting the problem!
