I cannot download the freeBayes vcf file for some analyses. I always use the same workflow but sometimes it works and sometimes not. I just can’t see any reason why it doesn’t work or why it works.

I can’t see the file since it is not publicly accessible.
A history and the datasets inside of it must be in a shared state in order to view them when not logged into the account that created the data. If this was your file, and you are not logged into your account, maybe try logging in to see if that is enough?
