Hello,
A slightly different question (compare to a previous post of mine), which potentially leads to a different visualization of my DEGs:
Again the start is the same:
I have used DESeq2 to identify DEGs. What I would like to do next, is to generate a heatmap (via the Heatmap2 tool), where I should show those DEGs (cut off: p<00,5 & -1<Log2(FC)>1), presented as log2(FC).
Question:
By choosing:
-
As input for the Heatmap2 tool the
rLog2 Normalized counts
file that DESeq2 gave me. -
Choosing the option
Log2(value) transform my data
in the Data transformation parameter of the Heatmap2 tool.
Do I get then a heatmap presenting my DEGs, where its color key corresponds to Log2FC? If not, how can I do that (input, tools, process)
Cheers,
Manolis
