I’d like to help troubleshoot this problem. It sounds really odd, which is likely why no one was able to help yet.
First, the reason why.
This is always reported based on conditions on the cluster nodes that are running the jobs.
Which makes these odd conclusions for the root reason. Meaning, they are probably leading to other conditions that are solving the problem.
And, while this sometimes happens, it would lead to the sort of specific error you are getting from the tool being not able to create a particular type of intermediate directory structure due to overlapping data labels.
SO – what is going on? There aren’t known issues that I am aware of but we can investigate.
This is either a label conflict in the data inputs somewhere, or a possible tool bug. Would you like to share your example? I can use it to replicate your exact tool (there are two, one for contigs, one for genomes), data framework and parameters to do some testing and either come up with a better way to organize it to get it to process correctly or report an issue to the tool developers and maybe get you a temporary workaround meanwhile.
And, I would also suggest simply trying a rerun. There were a few job container dependency issues in June that are all cleared up now. Those could have impacted tool runs in all sorts of unexpected ways. Please try the new rerun in a new fresh history and share that back for feedback, making sure to use the most current version of the tool, and we can troubleshoot more from there. And, if you have solved this, or that rerun itself solves this, please let us know!
ps: be sure to delete those extra accounts, ok? We always see those of course and know people experiment but eventually have to go in and clean them up. It isn’t pleasant. Please to avoid this.
