I want to use Humann, but I frequently encounter a 504 error. What is the reason for this error?

Can you provide more info, please? What Galaxy server do you use? Are there any useful information in the standard output and the standard error log files? To see log files, click at any output from a failed job, click at Dataset Detail (i, info icon), make sure that in the middle window you see Details page, scroll down until standard output and standard error log files and expand boxes text if needed.
Have you tried HuMANN or HuMANN2 on other servers? It is OK to have accounts on different public Galaxy servers, but only one account per server.
