how to add groups

We have examples in the GTN tutorials.

These are also linked from the bottom of these Mothur tool forms. In short, you define the groups, then use those assigned groups with downstream tools.
To see those steps with context, you can run the tutorial’s workflow on the example data to create a sort of “reference” history to compare to.
This is one I ran last September. It has some extra steps at the end but everything at the start is from that workflow.
