Recognizing paired collection for deep arg in galaxy europe server

I transferred Bowtie2 unaligned read pairs (fastqsanger.gz) from the us site to Europe site by exporting and importing a history. I built a paired collection but DeepARG short reads says ‘No compatible dataset pair dataset collections available.’ I also tried flattening the collection and rebuilding it but cannot select individual datasets from inside a collection to rebuild pairs. How do I get DeepARG to recognize my paired collection on europe server?

Hi @Varnika_D

I’ve completed bowtie2 job on collection of PE data, just one sample, with additional outputs (mapped and unmapped reads), archived the history and imported it into Galaxy Europe. I don’t see any issue with the paired collection of unmapped reads. The original history is on Galaxy Australia, but that should not make any difference. Here is a link to the exported history if you want to try history import: https://usegalaxy.org.au/api/short_term_storage/e3e1e7dd-860d-4a41-ac23-95ddeaac6477

History size is just over 1 Gb, the transfer should not take long time.

I am confused with “I built a paired collection but DeepARG short reads says ‘No compatible dataset pair dataset collections available.’”

Do you have a collection of original reads (input for Bowtie2)?
The error message points on issue with creation of collection. Try Advanced Build List option.

Kind regards,

Igor
