You wouldn’t need to start over, but instead just create an account and move your data over. → FAQ: Transfer entire histories from one Galaxy server to another
Let us know if that actually helps or not! And we can follow up if you need more help. Maybe share more details about the server you are working at (URL) and the exact genome you need. There are other ways to do this, for example, using a custom-genome instead.
