I am having the same issue as Kwang-woo and David83200. I’m trying to run Galaxy’s RStudio 4.6.0 in a new tab. However, although the Interactive Tools area on the left pane menu indicates that the RStudio job is running, I get the exact same “Galaxy could not be reached“ error message whenever I click on it and a new tab opens.
Is this a usegalaxy dot org issue? Because I also have an account on usegalaxy dot eu and have not encountered this problem there.
Let’s start over in a new topic since connections issues tend to have different solutions over time.
Are you working at UseGalaxy.org? Or somewhere else? Are you logged into your account? This is required, and if you can see your account under User → Preferences this means you are logged in. If you need an account, please see our FAQs for how-to.
I’ll also give RStudio a try at this server. Maybe a connection become unstable. More soon and I’ll watch for you reply too!
Update: I can reproduce the issue at UseGalaxy.org. We are working to resolve this. Thank you for reporting the issue!!
Updated status: Please try again now! We had a server process stopped that prevented the launch. This works now even on an existing session for me. Note: be sure to run just one environment at a time. You can save and relaunch later to move between environments.
