I’m new to Galaxy. I was working on a workflow that a colleague gave me for ChIP-seq. Everything was working fine until the beginning of this weekend. The “plotHeatmap” tool has been stuck on “job waiting to run” since it was loaded. All the other tools run normally. What can I do? I’ve already tried to restart it after deleting it, but it doesn’t work.
There was a minor cluster issue at UseGalaxy.org over the weekend, and our administrators are working to resolve it right now! The primary way this issue will show up is with job delays. Leaving your jobs queued is the best way to get them processed.
Below is the usual way to get work done where there isn’t an issue. Jobs queue first, then process. How long they queue depends on a few factors, and 24 hours is not unexpected for some tools. However, right now the delays may seem to be even longer and we are working on resolving it.
I’m going to rename your topic so that others can find it and learn what is happening right now. I’ll also be posting back updates until everything is resolved. Thanks again!
All the data analyses I submitted to Galaxy (galaxy.org) have either stopped or appear to have failed without an error message. I submitted them again today, but after two hours, there has been no progress or activity. Do you have any information on how long this issue might last?
The server is still catching up from the issues last week. If something fails, you can try the job again, but if still queued, our administrator is handling those.
