1. I tried signing up and signing in using an institutional email, and it worked, but even after several resending, no emails containing verification links were sent to this gmail account.
2. I then tried signing in using Gmail SSO, and it worked, but, same problem as #1 (still no emails with verification links received).
3. I tried deleting the usegalaxy.org account bound to the Gmail SSO account, and when I tried to sign in using #1, it said my account was deleted and to contact you for account recovery. With Google SSO, it goes to the home screen but the account is still not logged in.
It’s okay if the account linked to that institutional email is lost forever (I don’t have any important data there). What I want is to use it again, and then have it verified maybe using some other way, perhaps?
I also sent an email to galaxy-bugs@galaxyproject.org regarding this matter.
