I’m trying to use codeML PAML package in glaaxy, it need newick tree. I made the maxium likelihood tree in MEGA and export as .nwk file. The galaxy tool require .nhx file, so I try to convert .nwk to .nhx via ete in galaxy, but it said can’t find .nwk file in my file list, in the file detail part, my .nwk file is marked as .txt file. how can I fix this problem? Thank you!
Edited datatype to nhx to fix it.

I’m going to post some FAQs for anyone else who find this topic with a search.
Galaxy will try to detect the exact datatype but sometimes the overlap in content between many file types makes that difficult. In those cases, a more generic type is the fall back. And while a wrong “guess” can also indicate a format issue .. that isn’t always true of course! Directly reassigning is the solution.
