This is the important part
Is your account activated already? If not, try that first please. The links in our email will expire but you can send yourself a new one!
To generate a new account activation email, you can try this at any (most?) Galaxy servers:
Password Reset and Account Activation Steps!
- Click on the password reset link on the login form. → Help topic https://help.galaxyproject.org/t/17209/7
- On the next screen, input only your email address and submit. Do not enter any password at this step, or the new link will not be sent!
- A message will appear at the top of the login screen: If an account exists for this email address a confirmation email will be dispatched.
- Check your email: inbox, spam, trash. If you think your institution is filtering out our emails, you can ask them! Or, use a different email address instead from Google, Apple, QQ.
- Use the link in our email. Click on it directly, or copy/paste it into a web browser.
- Once back in Galaxy, input your new password twice to confirm and save. This can also activate your account!
- No email? Check the server URL and be sure to input your email address exactly the same way that you originally created the account!

Then if you need more help, please ask. We might need to know which server this is happening at – the URL at the top of the browser window please.

I see that you are still having issues with the activation! I’ve activated your account for you at UseGalaxy.org.
If anyone else is having a problem with account activation at UseGalaxy.org, please write into us at galaxy-bugs@lists.galaxyproject.org from the same email address that you used to register the account.
