Annotate DESeq2/DEXSeq tool error

Dear all,

I am trying to follow the Reference-based RNA-Seq data analysis Hands-on: Reference-based RNA-Seq data analysis / Reference-based RNA-Seq data analysis / Transcriptomics tutorial and at the Annotation of the DESeq2 results section I am not able to run the Annotate DESeq2/DEXSeq tool and I am getting this error. I tried multiple times. This is my error link

Hi @Mainak_Bardhan,

Please, share the history using the following procedure: click at History Options (three horizontal bars icons) in the top right corner of the History panel; select Share or Publish; in the middle window make the history accessible, copy and paste the link here.

Examine the job error and long files in Info (Details in new Galaxy) section.

The link you posted is for downloading of a dataset.

Hi @Mainak_Bardhan,
I cannot access the ORG server right now. I had a similar issue yesterday. Either I’ll have a look later today, or someone else will check the history.

It looks like the server/software/installation issue. Thank you for bringing it to our attention!

I completed a similar job on Galaxy Australia.

Ping @jennaj, it seems Annotate DESeq2/DEXSeq does not work on the ORG server. In the tutorial it is used with the default settings. I tried uncompressed annotation file, but no success. It works in Australia.

Hello,
this issue doesn’t appear to be fixed yet, I am getting an error at the same stage of this tutorial. Is it possible that this can be fixed for the US Galaxy server? Here is my associated history.

Thanks all for the details. I’ve created a ticket to get this corrected.

For now, please try running this at UseGalaxy.eu or UseGalaxy.org.au.

Update -- the tool should be corrected now, and either version hosted at UseGalaxy.org will work with the tutorials, or your own data given the correct inputs. Thanks all for reporting the issue! :rocket:
