Deleting database/tmp files from Local Galaxy Instance?

Hello, I have been setting up a local instance of Galaxy for ATAC-Seq and RNA-Seq analysis (I am running it through Ubuntu 20.04 in WSL2). I have recently finished working with one of my histories and have deleted+purged this history. In galaxy, my total data usage is listed as ~22GB. Despite this, Galaxy currently occupies 109GB of disk space.

After some digging, I have found that the database/tmp folder occupies 105GB of space, and has many files that I do not recognize. What exactly are these files, and is it safe to delete them? Thanks in advance for any advice!
