Installation stuck on cloning

I am unable to install any tools using Galaxy as all tools get stuck on the cloning step. How do I check my Galaxy version? I probably need to re-install the entire package, which I now have installed locally. I tried to install featureCounts.

The error log had the following errors:
Tool Errors

Internal Tool Error log
Time Phase File Error
2019-01-15 15:50:19.681933 Tool Loading ./tools/phenotype_association/sift.xml [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ‘/home/myname/galaxy/tool-data/sift_db.loc’
2019-01-15 15:50:19.679163 Tool Loading ./tools/evolution/add_scores.xml [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ‘/home/myname/galaxy/tool-data/add_scores.loc’
2019-01-15 15:50:19.677676 Tool Loading ./tools/evolution/codingSnps.xml [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ‘/home/myname/galaxy/tool-data/codingSnps.loc’

This is very frustrating, since I am installing all dependencies.

Any help would be appreciated. I do have an older local version.

Your logs should contain many more lines, some of which will tell you why the installation failed. If you’re using run.sh to start galaxy you can find the relevant logs either directly on the console or in the galaxy.log file in your galaxy directory.
