I have a problem with taxonomic classification of my WGS Campylobacter isolates using Kraken2. In most samples the classification is only up to the genus, not species.
When choosing the database, I saw that some databases have not been updated for years. Could this be the reason for incomplete identification?
Yes, or that the classifications are not fully known yet. Maybe check the Kraken2 site referenced at the bottom of the tool form for link outs, or just internet search. If there is a more current version available, we could probably add it. Be as specific as possible when making the request back, so the EU admins can find it.
