I setup a local galaxy instance which I start using localhost:8080. This works fine. I have two objectstore questions.
It appears one can use an AWS S3 bucket to retrieve items and display them in Galaxy’s history via a role available through Preferences/Manage Cloud Authorization. There are also instructions that point to an objectstore configuration xml file that requires the access and secret keys for the S3 bucket. Has anyone actually used the AWS S3 bucket to retrieve history files? Are both a role and the keys expected?
Also, if I attach an extra volume (AWS volume) will I need to change the object store config file?
Any enlightenment would be appreciated!
