Protozoan (parasite) database for metagenomic/metatranscriptomic taxonomic profiling

Hi,

I am looking for protozoan parasite using my NGS files (DNA groups and RNA groups), but not sure which tools and database I can use.

I have used Kraken / Kraken2 to detect Bacteria, Viruses and Archaea species, but I would like to know whether these tools also can detect protozoan parasite species.

Please let me know if there are other tools and database I can use to detect protozoan parasite species using NGS files.
