I am trying to build a de novo transcriptome. Trinity has been running for over 6 weeks, closer to two months. I have over 76 million sequences in forward fasta file and over 81 million sequences in my reverse fasta file. Is it standard for it to take this long when you are working with such a large data set? Since we aren’t given any information regarding the progress of the program, its hard to know if there is an error.
