Trouble connecting to server with FTP

Hello,

I have been unable to connect to the network using FTP. I am using FileZilla and am getting these messages when I try to connect.

|Status: |Resolving address of ftp.usegalaxy.eu|
|Status: |Connecting to 132.230.223.103:21…|
|Status: |Connection attempt failed with ENETUNREACH - Network unreachable.|
|Error: |Could not connect to server|

I am using ftp.galaxy.eu for the Host name and using my login credentials. I’ve also tried setting Port to 21.

I have been able to connect to the usegalaxy.org network by selecting “require implicit FTP over TLS” in settings.

I appreciate any help!

Sorry, I see now that you indeed used the correct adress in the error message you shared. I only looked at this part:

@ryzhu Today, we are under maintenance and all our services, except for the front page, are off.
Try again tomorrow

Hi,

I’ve tried connecting again today and it still hasn’t been working. I am still getting the error: ENETUNREACH - Network unreachable. Is there something else that could be the issue?

The FTP service is still off because the maintenance is still ongoing.
We don’t have, at the moment, a time estimation when it will finish.
Check regularly the usegalaxy.eu homepage, we are posting updates there.
