Why the tool doesn’t recognize the bam dataset, it puts me that it’s unavailable

Things to check
- Does dataset you want to use have the bam datatype assigned? The tool form lists out the expected datatype of the inputs under “Accepted formats”. When those “match” datasets in the history, those data become available as an input for that field.
- If the data are inside a collection folder, click on the folder icon so the select field is looking for the correct data shape.

Double check that the history in the screenshot is the currently active history.
You can do that a few ways
- Click on the top left Galaxy icon
- Refresh your browser window
- Go to Data → Histories and review
- Go to User → Preferences, turn on the Activity Bar, and find the Histories button in your new left panel
