we love phageterm and use it all the time but can’t find it on galaxy anymore.
Which Galaxy server were you using the tool at before? URL or describe if other.
Why I’m asking: each server decides on their own which tools to host, and the UseGalaxy servers don’t remove older tools, even “broken” tools, unless there is a compelling reason. This tends to be a licensing issue or related and the general solution is to host the tool in a private Galaxy server after obtaining a license.

I also love using PhageTerm. Would it be possible to include it in Galaxy and Galaxy EU, which offer more tools for workflow assembly? Currently, PhageTerm is hosted on Galaxy Pasteur, but unlike Galaxy or Galaxy EU, it has fewer tools available for use.

If I am understanding the license correctly (link) the author reserves the right to host the software directly. Meaning, you could download a copy for yourself, but only they can host it publicly at their own server.
So … since you want to also use distinct tools hosted at other public UseGalaxy servers, you can split your work and move data around between the servers. This is usually pretty fast and importantly doesn’t involve a download step.

Can you confirm that PhageTermVirome is the new version? And Pageterm is the older version?
