I am trying to add different tags to my datasets which are in a collection (output of HISAT2). Whenever I follow the manual listed for adding tags to datasets in collection nothing gets added. I am starting to suspect that it is maybe because that all of my datasets have different names, with no common factor between them. I was wondering whether there is a way to change dataset names/ if anyone can suggest a workaround way to get the tags to work? Many thanks
One thing to check: are the tags really not present or just not shown.
I think there is a bug currently that prevents the display of collection element tags. If that’s your problem, go back to your history and show hidden datasets. This will include the collection elements and tags should be visible.
Correction: there used to be that bug in the last Galaxy version, but depending on your server this could still be affecting you.
